We spent an exciting four days documenting Amber and Rahil’s wedding celebration over the Fourth of July weekend. Here is a recap of the blessings, gifts, performances, dancing, and festivities of the second day. More to come in a future post!

So much egg…

…and shaving cream, cool whip, and mayo

[...] (part one here) The third day, out of four, that we spent with Amber and Rahil was packed full of events and ceremonies. Rahil started off by picking Amber up from her family’s home, where he was offered a sweet milky drink, and then presented with his soon-to-be wife. Together they rode to their official ceremony called the Nikkah (where, unfortunately, photography is unwelcome). After that was the Khoba Khoba at Old Red. This was a very fun (and competitive) event, where the couple first crossed the threshold into married life together, dug for a tiny coin in a basket of roses, then fought to wrestle the coin from each other’s grasp, and then tried to persuade the other to give in more for a sip of milk. And then finally, their reception/dance party highlighted with many moving speeches from friends and family. [...]
hey guys! love those pics, and wish you a very happy life! Loved being part of your marriage and hope you live happily ever after!
You guys are simply fantastic – your work is most definitely beautiful & it’s easy to see how you’re award winning! I’d love to know what your favorite shooting equipment is!
I love your photography. Your photos turn boring old wedding and engagment pictures into works of art. They could be hung in a gallery, they are so unusual and beautiful.
