Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

Charene and Vinu had both an amazing Western ceremony at the W Hotel as well as a beautiful and ornate Indian ceremony at the DFW Hindu Temple the previous day.

Charene looks like royalty!

Raju and Kalpesh {Dallas Indian Wedding Photography} – Part 1

Monday, March 8th, 2010

We spent three days with Raju and Kalpesh for a truly enjoyable Indian wedding celebration. The first day was for Mehndi, the second day the Garba, and the third day was the wedding ceremony (coming in Part 2).

Practicing for the steps they would take during the main ceremony

Plus live music, and Coca-Cola! Coke seems to be
a strong bond between Indian and American cultures!

Such beautiful details to capture

There was some friendly debate as to whether Kalpesh was supposed
to get his hands done too, so he had them done lightly

Raju and Kalpesh + Kung Fu {Dallas Engagement Pictures}

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Raju and Kaplesh were one of the funnest couples we have worked with. They just wanted to goof around the entire time, which we’re perfectly alright with!

They both had really cool shoes

And then they got crazy on us

Raju has been learning Kung Fu, so we thought it would be fun to bring a little action to the shoot. Here she helps Kalpesh get into form

They look pretty tough

Pretty intense faces!

Kalpesh started his reaction a bit too soon… time to work on your acting skills :)

Sometimes we weren’t sure how far she was going to take it! She practically slammed his head into the cement walls!

After the Kung Fu lessons, we headed over to their Hindu temple in Irving. Basically everything in the temple was shipped from India and assembled here, including these beautifully ornate columns.
